Make sure your shelves stay firmly fixed to your plasterboard or drywall with this shelf kit. The innovative design means that the load is spread away from the hole you have drilled. This means that the fixings will stay strong long-term.
Easy to install – in 5 simple steps: drill your hole, insert the collar, make the fixing into a fish shape, tap it into the hole and install your shelf brackets.
Foolproof design – the screw hole only appears if the fixing is installed correctly. No more guessing what has happened behind the wall.
Super strong – holds up to 116kg*
Won’t work loose – the load is carried away from the hole (where the plasterboard is weakest) so the fixing stays strong.
The shelf kit includes:
- 4 Bullfix universal fixings
- a 20mm spade drill bit
Please note that this kit cannot be used for floating shelves. When installing shelves we advise that the bracket is longer on the side that is attached to the wall as shown in the diagram below

Excellent for plasterboard walls holds my mirror up great

First time I have used this and I was impressed. I fastened a wide variety of things to various qualities of plasterboard and used various fittings. these were simple to use and feel solid once the hooks (not shelves) were up. Two things to watch: I ordered a shelf kit and the screws supplied were too short to go through a half inch piee of wood support. I probably ordered the wrong kit but an easy fix using longer 5mm screws from the bottom of the tool box. Also, it is important to make sure the inner wings are vertical behind the wall, not horizontal as I had them. I was able to fix it once I realised what need to happen. Talking of instructions, I am of the generation who would rather have instructions on a piece of paper instead of having to scan a QR code. Now I ahve used them once I’d definitely use them again, obviously not making the mistake I made the first time.

Excellent for use in a new build

Fantastic kit. I had a shelf that was starting to pull the wall plugs out. Filled and sanded the original holes and used this kit to rehang the shelf. Everything back in place and so far it’s holding like new. Now eyeing up the pack of 24 fittings to do the same with all my other shelves. The mechanism takes a bit of getting used to but once you have the right orientation you’re fine, it’s no more difficult than any regular plug fixings to install.

Great product. Easy to fix and come with a drill bit.
I used them for installing a 25kg projector screen on plasterboard. The screen is now solidly fixed to the wall.
These work superbly and I wouldn’t hesitate to but some more when I eventually get around to putting up some shelving.

This shelf has been the biggest stress! I cannot tell you how many different “super duper” plasterboards solutions I tried. I gave up and after a month a mate suggested these fixings for me. Pricey but I had to give it one final try. I can’t actually believe it but they worked! I don’t know if my plasterboard is made out of paper or what but I have finally won!
So pleased I tried these amazing fixings. My wall didn’t have enough gap behind for spring toggles but these fit. Worth their price. A good, quality solution at last.

Does the job but I found them a bit tricky to install

A quality set of fixings that will hold quite a bit of weight when installed properly… just have to follow the instructions. What’s more, a 20mm spade drill bit is included which makes installation so much simpler. A good kit that is upholding its claim.

We have a lot of plasterboard walls and it’s a nightmare being restricted to screwing into the stud framework when placing shelves. These fixings solve the issue. Drill the holes where you want them using the included 20mm drill bit, push the plastic collars into the hole, make this fixing into a fish and push until flat and screw. You get 4 in a pack which is great for a shelf that will hold some weight. Just remember that the instructions pictures are on the back of the packet (unlike me). They also provide a handy QR code that will load the instructions on the website.
Brilliant 👍
