This pack of 4 radiator support brackets enables you to install heavy column and designer radiators onto plasterboard walls. The brackets spread the load across a wider area, yet hide discretely behind the radiator.
The manufacturer supplied brackets for these styles of radiators are small and designed for use on brickwork walls. On plasterboard, they work like a crowbar – digging in and making huge holes.
Before now, the only option was to cut out part of the plasterboard and add pattressing behind the wall. These radiator brackets eliminate the need for extra work and allow you to install directly onto plasterboard walls.

The brackets come with a stud and adjustable slot to allow you to fit any manufacturer supplied bracket to it. The kit also comes with all the Bullfix fixings that you require.

These are great at spreading the weight of column radiators. Anthracite coloured screw heads or small caps would give a better finish. The cost for what they are a little high in my opinion. I had 4 column cast iron effect radiators that wouldn’t easily take feet due to high skirts and pipes coming out of the wall taller than the max height of radiator feet. The Bullfix fixings alone despite saying suitable for 100kg, couldn’t hold a 60-79kg rad with water and it started to pull out of fixing hole in wall. I haven’t had any problems since using 6 of these per rad with 3 fixings in each plate on plasterboard walls. Wish I’d started with them.

These are brilliant – had a very large double radiator to hand on a hollow wall. I didn’t think it would work with the weight of the radiator, but held it with ease, great brackets

Nice and sturdy brackets, however the Philips screws that come with it are not good quality and the heads can easily be stripped. As usual with Bullfix, everything else is great!

Most of my house walls are solid, so I never needed to attach anything to plasterboard until I had an extension done at the back. The standard wall plates provided with the radiators would not have been sufficient to hold this rad. The weight would have just pulled them off the wall, regardless of what fixings you used. These Bullfix fixings are a game changer. I have attached a vertical radiator that weighs 20kg onto thin plasterboard adn it’s holding strong. Highly recommend this item!

I’ve been fortunate enough to test some of this product in development, hanging a very large column radiator on a thin plasterboard stud wall. The manufacturer brackets that came with the column rad were thin and pathetic and would have easily poked through the plasterboard regardless of what fixings are used. These special bracket adaptors needed only two fitting at the top of the radiator to support the entire weight of the radiator then I used two more ball fixed screws at the bottom to support the other brackets to stop the radiator rattling. I sat on the radiator afterwards and it didn’t move an inch. They’re clean well built and are well hidden down the back of radiators. I fitted white ones behind an anthracite rad and you they blended in with the wall – fantastic quality well thought out and an absolute game changer for fitting heavy objects on thin walls
